Running Grid is New Zealand's first and only private immersive, interactive grid gaming experience. It blends physical action with digital gameplay by putting teams into private rooms equipped with hundreds of pressure-sensitive, glowing LED floor tiles. The core concept brings "The Floor is Lava" to life, demanding quick reflexes, agility, and clever team strategy to clear levels, conquer challenges, and outrun changing colors.

  *Edited: First review (first visit) - Totally fun and challenging at the same time! The games really bring out everyone’s competitive side, and it’s a surprisingly great workout too. Highly recommended for groups looking for an exciting and active experience. Second review - Definitely a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!! Thank you for helping me organise my daughter’s birthday. Thank you for being very accommodating. The kids loved it! They had so much fun! Having the place to yourselves allowed them to enjoy the rooms at their own time. Great for kids and adults too! Highly recommended 👍🏻👍🏻

  Great experience! Easy self check-in with a door code, and the lockers were a thoughtful touch for storing our belongings. The games were fun, interactive, and a great activity with friends. Would definitely come back! 😊

  10000000/10 Great experience, easy to navigate inside the venue & so much fun! The Good: - Great pricing $80 NZD ($70AUD) 4 x Adults in 35min session - Parking available and restaurants downstairs - Toilet on-site - Locker with key available to store your belongings while you play - Vending machines with water/juices and games available - Can access the venue earlier than your time slot (Great for us cos it was hot outside today) - Air con in both game rooms (absolutely needed after that workout) The Bad: - Location: Google Maps says its right at the entrance, when it's actually located upstairs next to Systematic Accounting services (photo & video attached) Highly recommend for energetic kids, friend groups and team building!

  Took the kids as a long weekend activity, it was super fun! (Henderson) Facilities were clean and we were the only ones there, so felt like an exclusive experience. Having the lockers and vending machines was a good move too, well thought out 🙂 I think the safety notices on the door of the rooms were great, but would also be extra useful to include them in the email comms out, prior to peoples arrival, and maybe just extra seating in the foyer. The littlest one is also now planning their birthday party activity here.

  Just want to drop a huge THANK YOU! and express our heartfelt appreciation to the RG TEAM for attending to our last-minute request to move our booking to the next hour. We couldn't make it in time due to traffic congestion so I messaged RG in the chat and they immediately sorted this for us. I was getting worried to spoil my son's 11th birthday and, luckily, Room D was still available, hence we didn't lose our reservation, yay! All's well that ends well. My son had a memorable experience and we all had a wonderful time! The whole process was smooth. Clear communication. Clean and complete facilities. Everything was in order for a non-staff game center. We'll definitely come back!

  We love Running Grid. It is great fun (a bit of a workout if you really go for it) and the games are updated regularly. We visited recently and the grid was having a technical issue. I contacted the number displayed on the walls and the team attempted a remote reset. Unfortunately in this instance a technician was necessary to actually resolve the problem. Such with technology! The site owners kept in comms with updates and helped me to reschedule our time. We were also gifted a little bit of extra time due to the inconvenience caused with our initial booking. Sometimes technology lets us down, and that is unfortunate. However the way in which it was handled was superb which is why they still get my 5 stars. This is the first time I have had any technical issue with Running Grid and we visit fairly often. What I am most impressed by is the speed with which the issue was resolved and the thorough communication throughout as well as the gesture to comp a little bit of extra time too. It made up for my child's initial disappointment. Keep up the good work RG Team!
