Nice little cozy Filipino restaurant. We actually discovered this place through TikTok, and we're so glad we gave it a try. The food was delicious, the owner/chef was incredibly warm and hospitable, and the serving sizes matched the price, which we thought was fair. We really enjoyed our lunch, and my personal favorite was the lumpia, it was absolutely delicious! I hope this hidden gem gets the recognition it deserves so more people can discover and enjoy their amazing food. It's definitely worth the drive and well worth the effort to visit. We'll definitely be back!

Nice little shop. Food tasted good. Owner is really friendly :) I like the concept and I can see how passionate they are with food. Creative names too! They explain the menu if it’s your first time dining with them. I was expecting the chao fan to be similar to the ones from Chowking but they’re quite different. I really loved CK’s one and I was hoping to taste that but it was a diff concept. It’s not bad, it’s actually filling. The siomai was super good and the zesty sauce was such a perfect match to it. I might try the cheese sauce next time! Maybe sell frozen siomai please!! haha Good serving size for the price too. I really enjoyed the wicked oreos, I want more!!!! But so far away from me lol 😝 Nice to see something different from the usual filo restaurant. Good job! All the best

Gotta check this Filipino restaurant out! So nice the food and service. Price is just right. Filipino cuisine is a fusion of east and west eg IndoMalay, Chinese and Spanish flavors. It's a bit of a squeeze inside the restaurant but it's worth it. Or you can do takeaways. But we love eating in.

Cravings satisfied. Foods are amazing! I was told their dumplings are handmade by the owner. Place was easy to find. The owner is very friendly and accomodating! This place is recommendable!

I’ve visited Kusingero twice now, and it’s quickly become one of those hidden gems I’ll keep coming back to. It’s a tiny spot in Henderson serving Filipino comfort food - but elevated. Think familiar flavours like siomai (à la Master Siomai) and dumplings reminiscent of Pao Tsin, but prepared, cooked, and presented with a more refined, almost glamorous touch. What really makes the place stand out is the owner. She’s incredibly warm and welcoming - reminiscent of true Filipino hospitality. If you get the chance, have a chat with her while you eat. She’s got a story worth hearing, and it adds something special to the whole experience. On my first visit, I tried the Siomai Rice: homemade siomai over basmati rice cooked in chicken broth and coloured with achiote (annatto), giving it that vibrant yellow hue. The siomai itself was tasty, though I personally would’ve loved a bit more texture and distinction in the filling. Maybe chunks of mushroom, carrots, spring onions, or shrimp. Still, flavour-wise, it definitely delivered. It came drizzled with a thicker take on toyomansi (soy sauce with a hint of lime). While I usually prefer the traditional version, I can see why it’s done this way - it complements the dish nicely. Garnished simply with spring onions. The highlight? Their homemade chili oil. The owner let me try a small portion, and it completely elevated the dish. Instant heat, depth, and savouriness. If you do go to Kusingero, make sure to try and taste their chili oil if you like things spicy. Second visit, I went for the Chook Fan—lightly fried chicken over the same signature rice. The batter is light, which I appreciated - it keeps the natural chicken flavour while still giving you that crispiness. And honestly, the real star of both dishes is the rice. It’s so rich and flavourful on its own that it just makes you want to keep eating. If you’re in the area and craving something hearty, comforting, and affordable, Kusingero is definitely worth a visit.
