Auckland’s ultimate axe-throwing experience — learn the technique, hit some bullseyes and battle your mates in fun, friendly competitions. Great for dates, groups, parties and team events. Throwing an axe is an exhilarating experience, one you can feel for yourself in our safe & supportive space. It's an activity that rewards form over force, it's a leveller - anyone can do it! Depending on your selected session, your group will spend up to 2hrs with guided coaching so you're throwing safely and with correct technique, these axe-perts will call games & bring the hype! From there, we launch into a tournament to find out who your axe throwing champ is *hint: it's never who you expect it to be!*

  Sunday Session: Axes 101

  Every Sun, 3pm–5pm, until 27 Sept

  This axe throwing session is some of the best bang for your buck as an introduction to axe throwing. It includes: - 30 minute introduction/training session - 1.5 hours of free throwing time including games and mini tournaments - an Axe Addict membership- This means that you are part of the coolest club in town and future axe throwing sessions are all discounted, It also gains you access to our tournaments. $65 Per Person

  Our very first time axperiencing this type of entertainment and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks to KJ for an amazing time, he is an awesome host (he needs a pay rise 😉). We had an axcellent time (lol). There is plenty of things to do, dress up, pool, table tennis, video games. A little something for everyone. 100% recommend for a fun night out.

  What an event! The team catered well for us on our bros stag do. Shane and Owen were totally awesome, infomative, fun, and still adheared to safety standards. A lot more fun than you can imagine. Great for a night out, event, or just for a bit of fun. The larger the group, the more the fun. Thanks to all the staff that made it a good end to the day. HIGHLY reccomend

  Had such a great time at Sweet Axe Throwing! From the moment we arrived, the whole experience was so much fun. Sean was fantastic — he was super friendly, patient and made the whole event even more enjoyable with his hilarious axe-cellent puns! 😂🪓 He did a great job showing us how to throw, keeping the games fun and getting everyone involved. The atmosphere was awesome, and we had plenty of laughs along the way. Would 100% recommend Sweet Axe Throwing to anyone looking for something fun and different to do. Thanks for a great time!

  THIS IS NEXT LEVEL FUN!! We came as a whānau for the mother’s bdays & we all had a ball! The place was awesome, the games were fun, the staff were super friendly and helpful, and it was an affordable adventure! We will definitely be back!
