Star Kebab on Queen Street is a hidden gem in Auckland. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful and generously portioned. Their kebabs are perfectly seasoned, with tender meat and crisp vegetables wrapped in warm, soft bread. The sauces add just the right balance of tang and spice. The staff are friendly, quick and always welcoming, making every visit enjoyable. Prices are reasonable for the quality you get, especially in such a central location. Whether you need a quick lunch or a late night bite, this spot never disappoints. Highly recommended for anyone craving satisfying, delicious street food in the city

I am from Bangladesh, and I know how good the food is in our country, and that the taste of Bangladeshi food is appreciated worldwide. However, while eating vegetable paneer biryani at Star Kebab, I was amazed. I forgot all the tastes of the food I have had in my country. It was really very good food. I highly recommend everyone to try it.

I always go here when I feel too lazy to cook my own lunches, I’m afraid I might start getting fat. Nothing really bad to say. The portion sizes are really large, and filling! I always get meat on chips and so far haven’t been disappointed, it’s not glamorous or anything but I’d say it’s worth the price and leaves me satisfied. I’ve been served by two workers there, the younger fella is really nice, and welcoming! The older man who I assume might be the owner is a lot quiet, seems grumpy and dismissive even when it’s really quiet but this doesn’t bother me too much as I’m not looking for a conversation 😭. And as someone who’s worked in food and customer service, me too buddy.
