Rosedale Bakery truly lives up to its reputation, with the best sausage rolls in Auckland—hands down! The flaky pastry and flavorful filling are unbeatable. Their steak pies are also fantastic, though I’d say they’re second only to Taggart Road Bakery. Overall, a must-visit for anyone who loves delicious bakery treats...pinneer pies in Albany is a must as they have the best pies in Albany hands down

Went out on Saturday 2nd August 2025, got there 8am, travelled from South East Auckland to try the Potato Top pie of the Year 2025 and it was amazing 👌 flavors, pastry, the filling all on point. I also had the Bacon & Egg pie because the pastry looked light & crispy similar to filo pastry. The Bacon was nice and chunky and there were full eggs in there not just scrambled eggs 😋 My son had the good ole Mince & Cheese pie and he was happy that it had a good amount of cheese through it. Highly recommend A+++++ worth the drive there!! Enjoy 👍🙌

Long drive from East Auckland, zero regrets. The Supreme Pie Award winner and sausage roll are amazing — totally worth it!

Went on a Saturday morning around 9.30am, thinking it'd be crowded but there wasnt a queue and plenty of the award winning pies available. The pie itself was a tad pricier than usual but it was yum! Recommend to try at least once.

We came in search of the award winning pie, but left with a bag filled with baked goods! I'm a huge potato top fan and this one definitely hits the spot. The legendary sausage roll too, wow what a classic! The exterior crust and potato are the perfect texture; it'll leave you wanting more. Not much to say, other than maybe buy two?
