  Just back from our first visit. Awesome service, thanks Dan in particular. The pizzas are good, lots of drinks options. We tried the 2 sangria specials and they have nice craft beers on tap at a good price. We had the pizza specials so will have to come back to try the regular menu. Not loud inside so you can easily chat, can be casual and for a special occasion.

  I moved back from Vancouver years ago and only now have I found Poutine that reminds me of there. So good! The smell, the gravy and the curds took me back to Coal Harbour. The mushroom pizza was delicious and full of flavour, and the buttermilk chicken was delicious. Kudos to the staff who also had to deal with a large rowdy Christmas party spilling over from next door! The staff were great. This is a great addition to Hood St and I look forward to coming back

  In a very soft, cozy, and welcoming atmosphere, I was enjoying a strong IPA when a beautiful-looking pizza arrived at the table. The combination of excellent beer, outstanding pizza, and relaxed surroundings made for the perfect evening with friends and family. Octavo Pizza & Beer Eatery has a great balance of quality food, good drinks, and a warm environment that makes you want to stay longer. The pizza was fresh, generous, and full of flavour, and the IPA paired with it perfectly. A fantastic spot in Hamilton for a casual night out, whether you're catching up with friends or sharing a meal with family. Highly recommended.

  I was looking forward to trying Octavo out - we are big fans of wood-fire grilled pizzas! And we were pretty happy with Octavo and look forward to going back to trying more of their menu. The servers were all super friendly (and I am so grateful for the one - I wish I had gotten his name, sorry! - who talked me into trying dessert - it was amazing), the atmosphere is cozy and inviting, I love how they did the lighting, making an open space feel intimate, the food was served in a timely manner, and a small detail, but I really appreciate that there is lotion in the restroom! I definitely recommend visiting Octavo for your next night out!
