I honestly couldn’t believe how affordable this place is — the cheapest pizza is only $6.99, and the quality really surprised me. We ordered two Premium Meat pizzas ($18.99 each), and they were definitely worth the price. The cheese was very generous, and the toppings didn’t feel cheap or watery at all. The Fiery Chicken looked great when it arrived and tasted even better — mildly spicy, aromatic, and with a good amount of meat. The Fiery Prawns were also a standout, with juicy prawns that paired really well with the creamy, rich cheese. We also tried a classic burger, and the sauce was extremely generous — almost dripping out when you picked it up, which was a nice touch. To finish, we had an acai bowl, which was fresh and refreshing. It was topped with pistachio, Biscoff, and Bueno sauce, with strawberries and bananas underneath — a great way to end the meal. Overall, amazing value for money. Would definitely come back.

We’ve been meaning to give Hunger Strike in Glendene a shout-out because every experience we’ve had there has been brilliant. Laura and I grabbed the **Fiery Chicken pizza (#6)** this time and it was great — really good value, plenty of toppings and heaps of flavour. For an extra-large pizza at around the $25 mark, you definitely can’t complain. But the absolute highlight had to be the **chicken wings** that came as part of their current promotion. Honestly, they were amazing. So succulent, full of flavour, and whatever sauce they’ve got going on with them just brings everything together perfectly. We both finished them and basically wished we’d ordered more 😂 What also stands out every time is the service. Every staff member we’ve dealt with has been great, and the owner in particular is an absolute legend. Friendly, welcoming and clearly someone who genuinely cares about the food and the people coming through the door. It’s awesome seeing a local owner-operated business doing well, and even better to see they’ve now opened another Hunger Strike in Mt Wellington. If you’re around Glendene and haven’t tried them yet, definitely give these guys a go. Great food, great value and genuinely great people behind the counter. **Highly recommended from Laura & Dion. 👌🍕🔥** The picture of the wings don't do it justice!!

Wow I am still thinking about our work pizza party 🥳 Everyone enjoyed their slices, asked for the spice to be mild and they listened! (although one was pretty fire 🔥). The fiery prawn is unbelievable though, that sauce is definitely a secret ingredient to elevating taste. Demolished all the boxes, I’ll be ordering more in future

Outstanding Food Quality, Service and Atmosphere, especially the music vibe. I've been coming here only for the owners amazing Butter Chicken wraps, everytime I order this, he makes it better and blows my mind everytime. I came tonight wanting a Pepperoni Pizza and of course a butter chicken wrap, he gave me some recommendations for the pizza and I just said "Surprise me mate!" WOW I never regret saying that, my pizza is delicious! I'm having a great night feeling satisfied. I'm coming back for more! Worth it! Thank you for an amazing experience. A++++
